In Lithuania, the Order’s Lithuanian Charity Service operates soup kitchens in 23 towns as winter bites

The Order of Malta is running soup kitchens in many European
cities this winter. In Vilnius, a Christmas concert fundraiser organised by the Order’s Lithuania Relief Organisation (MOPT) has provided enough donations to keep the operation up and running till next winter.

The mission of the Order of Malta is inspired by its tradition of ‘Tuitio Fidei et Obsequium Pauperum', to assist the poor and the sick, and bear witness to the Christian faith.
