Happy 10th Anniversary!

This week the Companions’ café commemorated their 10th Anniversary. Volunteers served over 100 guests – starter was a delicious little cup of home-made soup and cheese and tomato sandwich (a nod to what was first served 10 years ago) followed by shepherd’s pie and chocolate cake with ice cream. The supplies team offered clothes and toiletries. Everyone listened to a wonderful singer – Emily. Guests and volunteers chatted about the first time they came to the café. After the guests left the volunteers enjoyed a slice of delicious cake made by Liz. Thank you to all the volunteers who have supported the Companions’ café over the last 10 years.
