Winter Warmer Campaign

Might you consider making a donation to the Winter Warmer Campaign this year?

For the last nine years, the Companions have put together Christmas parcels to be donated to the homeless. Sadly, we know that the need will be greater this year so we are planning on making up over 1,000 Christmas parcels which is over 15,500 items, some to new locations identified by Companions in their local communities, others to a perceived increase in need, as for example Coatbridge near Glasgow and Ellesmere Port.  They consist of clothing and toiletries and are distributed throughout England and Scotland.

Here are the items which the Companions buy at this time of year – to give an idea of the costs:

Sleeping Bag (Season 3/4): £45                     Rucksack (44 litres): £40
Waterproof Walking Shoes: £45                      Gilet: £15
