The 35th International Camp has offered an unforgettable week of exciting opportunities and activities for the young guests, with projects designed to cover all disabilities. ‘It’s a fantastic experience,’ says Monica, a guest from Italy, ‘and my third camp. I love it’. Malcom, Maltese, is here for the eighth time: ‘It’s so much fun.’ Maltese team leader Daniel Camilleri reflects: ‘The volunteers give us a lot. But the guests give so much back! It is a combination of satisfaction and kindness.’
The week concludes with the assurance that the groups will meet again next year, in Germany, where the friendships made and strengthened here will renew again.

The mission of the Order of Malta is inspired by its tradition of ‘Tuitio Fidei et Obsequium Pauperum', to assist the poor and the sick, and bear witness to the Christian faith.

The Sovereign Order of Malta is a sovereign subject of international law. The Order - which is based in Rome, in via Condotti - has its own Government, an independent magistracy, and bilateral diplomatic relations with 110 countries.

The Order of St John of Jerusalem is one of the oldest institutions of Western and Christian civilisation. Present in Palestine in around 1048, it is a lay religious Order, traditionally of military, chivalrous, noble nature.
