First Aid Course for Companions and volunteers in central London

St John’s Ambulance ran a highly successful, fully subscribed Emergency First Aid course for volunteers at the Companions of the Order of Malta soup kitchen project, St James’s Spanish Place, in Marylebone last week.

Led by Lt Cdr Charles Perrett MStJ VR RNR, national training delivery officer and area president for Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, and Hammersmith & Fulham, 20 volunteers were eager to learn more about these important skills from an expert. Charles was greeted by Companions Chairman Paul Letman, who thanked him for his team’s marvellous work – on a very warm evening! –  and for the splendid, informative event they offered to the appreciative volunteers
